Artist Biography

Gina Parenti, founder and artistic director of Virtuosity Dance, is from Chicago, IL and has been dancing for seventeen years while intensively training in all styles for seven years. She is very passionate about dance, always striving to learn and grow more as an artist. She has been a performer in the Pulse Fashion Show representing Urban Empire, traveled the country teaching for Universal Dance Association, and became a member of the Marquette Dance Team. As a member of the Marquette Dance Team, she had the opportunity to perform in the BMO Bradley Harris Center in Milwaukee, WI. Also in Milwaukee, Gina performed for the Catey Ott Dane Collective in their show called 3Dall2see - Keys to Life held in the 3D MARVL Lab on Marquette's campus.
Gina trained in various styles such as Hip-Hop, Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and Tap, and furthered her training outside the studio by accomplishing a minor in Dance at Marquette University. She learned from dancers and choreographers around the world such as Ian Eastwood, Brian Friedman, Christopher Martin, Sergio Lopez, and Zoltan Kadona. Gina aspires to give dancers inspiration to see the power of dance and its artistic capabilities.
Currently studying Marketing and International Business at Marquette University, Gina is excited to start her career in Business and Dance and to perform and train for the years to come.
